What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping is a technique that supports self regulation of emotions and is scientifically proven to be effective for both adults and children. It can be used to relieve stress, overcome limiting beliefs, fears and to bring about lasting positive changes like improved concentration, confidence and so on.
Studies conducted by the Harvard Medical School have revealed that practising EFT reduces activity in the Amygdala ( the part of your brain which triggers the body's stress response). Gently tapping on the 9 EFT points and acknowledging emotions can drastically reduce the negative emotional response, which in turn changes the perspective towards the situation.

As children grow, life experiences cause them to develop beliefs about themselves and their potential that may not be supportive. And if these limiting beliefs are unchecked in childhood, they go on to shape and limit their adult life too.
As educators and parents, it is important to support children with their social emotional growth. EFT is a tool that empowers children to realise their full potential.
The EFT program promotes Emotional Hygiene where children learn to address their emotions in a healthy manner as they arise. They learn to regulate their anxieties which in turn boosts their concentration, confidence and resilience.

EFT Programs for schools
EFT is a universal tool that can be used for negative emotion management or positive reinforcement, no matter what your story or situation. It can help overcome limiting beliefs like- "I am not good enough", "I wish I had more ...". During an EFT session, the focus will be on one particular issue that is holding you back. We will discuss this in detail and once I have gathered an understanding of your situation, I will create tapping statements specific to you. We will use them as we tap along the points mentioned in the link above. In some cases you will be asked to follow on the tapping routine at home as well.
