Most money beliefs are passed down from parents/ ancestors or a result of life experiences. In childhood if your parents struggled to make ends meet, chances are at a subconscious level you believe money is hard to come by. This belief then shows up in your life in a cycle where you work way harder than others around you, but you still don't make enough money OR you can't establish a steady flow of income. You shuttle between making money and funds drying up . 

When the beliefs aren't the most positive, they cause blockages in the Root Chakra( the energy centre associated with abundance) which in turn keeps you from receiving the abundance you so deserve.
