Life can often be challenging, while we can't control situations we can change how we react to them. Which is where tools like Meditation can really support us. They help us think clearly, feel calm and most importantly disengage from negative self talk.
One way to understand Meditation, is as practice of spending time with your mind. When we take time out of our busy day to sit, breathe, and meditate, it helps us become more aware of our thoughts and connect with the present moment.
The practice of meditation isn't about sitting in silence and stopping our thoughts to feel calm, as many believe. This practice is about accepting the moment and allowing thoughts to come and go without controlling them.
