About the Event

If you can breathe, you can meditate.

Life can often be challenging, while we can't control situations we can change how we react to them. Which is where tools like Meditation can really support us. They help us think clearly, feel calm and most importantly disengage from negative self talk.

One way to understand Meditation, is as practice of spending time with your mind. When we take time out of our busy day to sit, breathe, and meditate, it helps us become more aware of our thoughts and connect with the present moment.

The practice of meditation isn't about sitting in silence and stopping our thoughts to feel calm, as many believe. This practice is about accepting the moment and allowing thoughts to come and go without controlling them. The more you practice, the easier it will be to let thoughts go and become more present in the moment, whether that is family time or solving a work problem.

There are many types of meditation techniques, so there is one to suit every person. Unfortunately, mass media shows meditation only as people sitting in lotus position chanting! which is why I've created this 4 week programme. Through my coaching and the different types of meditation styles I teach, in this 4 week journey we will break stereotypes like meditation is hard or that it is something only a select few can do.

Each person, based on their overall personality, has a natural way to meditate. Learning what your personal meditation style is, is they key to enjoying meditation and making it part of your life.

During this 4 week programme, we will debunk meditation myths to learn new ways to meditate.

You will learn -

- What you need to meditate

- Different styles of meditation and finding the one suited for you

- Integrating your meditation practice into your busy life

- Overcoming common obstacles in meditation

- Learning which style of meditation to use for different situations (ex - how to boost confidence before a meeting, staying calm when someone is triggering you, being kind to yourself when you've made a mistake...)

- Deepening your meditation practice

- Working with your energy centres (Chakras)

- Most importantly enjoying the practice

- Receive Reiki healing at every session

Here are the dates for the weekly gatherings
